A Summer Outing in the Val d’Orcia

The pandemic has changed the way we travel, for better or worse. I’d argue that at least one change fits firmly in the "better" category: the opportunity to return to our origins and discover authentic beauty in our own backyards.
International travel is now open again, of course, but many Italians are preferring to spend their time off in their own country, uncovering its treasures in ways they haven’t before. I’m one of them.
