Who doesn’t love a good Italian recipe?! We think we all do, and that’s the Word of the Week: ricetta – recipe.
The plural is ricette.

Ricetta in Italian has another meaning that has nothing to do with food: it can also mean ‘prescription’.
Or, it can also be used in a figurative sense, meaning solution, remedy, fix, as in “la ricetta anti-crisi”, the anti-crisis solution.
