Fornelli (Molise)

Fornelli is a comune in the Province of Isernia in the Italian region Molise, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) west of Campobasso and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Isernia. Fornelli is known as the ‘The Town of Seven Towers’. The ancient borgo is enclosed by city walls that are some of the best preserved in Molise. The main sights are: the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, the Baronial Palace and the Summer Fountain and the Church of St. Peter the Martyr.
