my wife an i have just returned from penne(see penne v loreto) we had a wonderful time and met some great people, for those of you who we have met via different sites ,we have now completed on our house in rosciano.hooray.
would recommend la grotta restuarant,in penne very friendly.

some people looked at me a little disbelievingly tho when i mentioned the med olympics in pescara in 2009.

sifting through some paperwork on my desk i found a few bits of paperwork i printed off a while ago.sorry that i dont know how to add them as links ,but for any of you living out there ,these sites may be of interest.

Hi yes -the games are still happening but it is of no surprise no-one knows about the games as they are rather a low-key event - to call them an olympics is a bit of an overstatement!
The Mediterranean Games basically involve - unsurprisingly - countries bordering the Mediterranean. Big name sports people rarely participate and the event gets little coverage wherever it is held, even though it has been running since 1951.
Maybe in 2009 nearer the time people may know a little bit more, but at the moment I can't see it being of interest to anyone really.

In Italy there are a lot of jobs and business source. Me and my friend are working here in a online casino https://icasinoreviews.info/online-roulette-nz/ and we are both very happy with our earning. If we left this job then we have a lot of other option for new jobs.

hi fanine
thanks for that,at least im not totally crazy,i think low key seems to sum it up.i had been told about it ages ago and looked at the websites, and led myself to believe it was quite a big event .
still if were over there then ,and having bought in abruzzo ,we should support it .
regards
simon

The fact Pescara won the right to hold the games is good, as new facilities are being built which will benefit the local community in the long run.

I should also think that when the games are underway there will be a lot more interest and a big number of visitors, so should be fun.

Could be good for those who run a B&B in the area then!
