We've just bought a dilapidated trulli and assorted buildings near Cisternino and are looking for builders and an architect. Is it true that these restorations can take up to three years? Any advice very very welcome

There are quite a few of the 'Puglia Posse' who have bought trulli to renovate on this forum and I'm sure that once into the New Year, with all the celebrations behind us, they'll reply to your post personally.
In the meanwhile, you might want to use the search engine at the top of the page to look up specific threads that have been discussed before. I'm sure you'll find a lot of pertinent information.
Lots of luck with your renovation and look forward to meeting you both at one of the up and coming parties being organised for the summer months :-)
