2400 Furniture stores in southern Marche?

Have booked cheapy flights to come out in March to finish our furniture shopping, just discovered that the new Ikea in Ancona now not opening till June. Grr.
May not be such a bad thing (too much Ikea definately rots the brain!)if we can find reasonably priced wardrobes and chests of drawers elsewhere. I really don't like the stuff in 'Self' and find a lot of the Italian furniture stores either full of stuffy, dark heavy and old fashioned stuff or wonderful but incredibly pricy.
Does anyone have any top tips for where we might hunt in March? Second hand is fine as long as its not melamine - thats what I'm kicking out..

We've got a guy in downtown Francavilla who produces some truly beautiful work, I see him as I'm walking the dog, and, I have also seen him stripping the melamine off furniture and re veneering it, very clever, you should try to get down for the late summer festa, they normally have a display of his miniature stuff on show...:) Ohhhh, have you looked in Stockhouse, off the main road fermo amandola just after sadam ??'

Thanks George - yes we laugh at Sadam as we go past every time so will check that place out. Would love to have stuff made but am prob looking at too low a budget - ideally want to spend Ikea type money for Habitat type stuff - 110-140 euros for drawers and 150-200 for free standing wardrobes - we need about 4 of each.
Would like to see someone strip our melamine rubbish..

A couple of other possibilities are Emmezeta at Ancona they sell just about everything household and are about 2 kilometeres from Ancona Sud exit worth a look on the way from the airport. Also try Mercatone Uno at Civitanova Marche they are beside the autostrada after the tolls turn right at roundabout and immediately right again and you are in their car park.
