Went fishing as a kid, not since. That said, now have two kids of my own and would love to meet up with people when they are with me. Let me know how you get on with your discoveries.

Well done to you two guys.

My Dad moved to Tenerife in the 70's and became the first fisherman to fish for BIG FISH with rod and line ever in the Canaries. He is now the Pesident of the Fishing Association of the US for Tenerife. And this at the age of 76!

Just about out on a boat everyday, casting lines .....!

All that apart, as a kid my Dad took me fishing ... both night and day ... and it was wonderful. Night times we had a tent - at Hampstead Ponds. Day times it might have been at Aldernham Reservoir in a boat or the River Test, where he fished for salmon.

My Dad and my Brother have both been very active in the fishing arena. My brother in fact was the Captain of the UK team at one time. Leigh Pond.

Lovely to have a family that are so involved with fishing. Well that's what I feel anyway.
