We are just getting started on our project and want to move our barn, which has a 50 sqm footprint with the option of putting in a first floor of the same size. The barn is blocking views from the main house and facing in the wrong direction. The new location will still be near to the main house but adjacent to, instead of in front of (hope this makes sense!)
Please could anyone who has done this project before advise on cost/issues - we already have planning permits for the barn conversion. I know this depends on a number of variables - but a ball park figure and some info would be really useful. Happy to use PM.
Many Thanks.

simple sum really... you take the number of floors including roof... and multiply by the 50 sq m ...then times it by e1000... and you will be somewhere close...
i cannot understand if the project has been approved that it hasnt already been costed.. the figure above will also have various percentages added by the project manager...but again that is generally in the projected costs of the plans and construction....
i presume you already have a quoted figure and are not very happy with it
