Looking for a shop near Pontremoli area where we can buy kitchen & bathroom. Can anybody direct me to a web site.

there is a specialized kitchen shop in Pontremoli at the roundabout to go up to Zeri. If i remember well its name is SCIC. I'll think about a bathroom shop...

Vender was recommended by our plumber. They seem to be used by the local tradesmen and have a good selection of bathroom stuff. To find them take the road out of Pontremoli towards Villafranca. After a while there will be a right turn for the autostrada and Vender is about 100 metres on the left. It's a big warehouse-type building. Avoid Saturdays - they are very busy. Mondays are better. Ask for Matteo. Don't think they have a website. You could try mr-big.com for appliances such as washing machines, hobs, ovens, fridges, etc. - they have delivered to us in Malgrate.

I know it's not that close but I went to Parma on the train (from Borgo val di Taro - just through the tunnel from Pontremoli) ordered all my bathroom stuff (and much more) from the Brico store in the shopping centre and had a courier pick it up and deliver it a day later. Decent quality in a B&Q kind of way and good prices.

Both do a nice selection of kitchens. Not sure about bathrooms.
However, there's a fairly large brico in Aulla and they have a modest selection of bathrooms.

Hi new member, have just purchased apartment in Stresa on Lake Maggorie anyone know of any Kitchen suppliers in this area except IKEA.

If you go from Borgomanero towards Novara on the SS229, you pass under the motorway after a few minutes and about 10 minutes further on [near a place called Suno]there is a big [blue] place on the left of the road [called Risparmione I think]

Upstairs is the kitchen sales area [they have an English speaker there]

We had them supply a kitchen, including hob cooker, dishwasher and fridge/freezer for about 5000 Euros. Delivery was about 50 Euros and fitting about 100 Euros
