9936 can anyone help!!!
hi folks!
Now, I've been trawling around the .it web armed with a small amount of language understanding and an online site translator (some of their translations still make me laugh) and I have even trudged my way through a good amount of this part of the forum- which has answered a lot of questions I didn't know I needed to ask beforehand! But still I am strugging to get the answer to a rather specific question.
How much can I get building materials for in Torino?
It seems there is some loss of specific clarity in the request through translation, and no matter how I try, I can't find anywhere on line that can give me a list of prices for things like bricks, cement, wood, steel, etc. I have worked out that builders merchants where you can get everything under one roof isn't how they it!
Now I understand the general theory for a home renovation is that it costs e1000 per square metere (am I right?), but I do not intend to build a house, I am looking to build a bar (don't worry, I'm not being naive, I have an italian friend native to Torino who's in on this too, but as I am the builder by trade I suggested I'll do the research for that bit!) so believe the cost of renovation/building will be higher per sqm.
Is anybody able to provide me with a link or two to suppliers of building materials so I can attempt to generate a ball park cost figure?
providing your italian is up to it and with the aid of a dictionary i think this site will help
basically gives figures on all building works and materials...

have aimed it at bathrooms as i presume even a bar will want that ...once you get used to the site and how it works should give you all the details you need
