10119 Italian Dictionaries

I think the time has come for me to buy an Italian dictionary especially if I am to set more Italian Word Games.. Babelfish just isn't good enough.

Which one then do you recommend???

For a hardback copy I would reccommend Cassell's Italian Dictionary.
The copy I have was a gift way back in 1966, but current editions are really up to date.

There are plenty of 'on line' dictionaries too - some are more comprehensive than others - it's a question of selecting one for the level you may require. Most are free downloads.
