2470 Free lessons for non residents in Italy

A colleague has told me that if you are a non resident you can claim 2 3 hour Italian lessons a week for free - has anyone else heard of this?

Yes have heard of these courses held in some local communes. I think Viterbo is our nearest. However they are geared to helping stranieri seek work in Italy, so help with form filling language, job applications etc.

I finished 6 months of free Italian lessons run by a social organisation in Amandola (Marche). It was 2 hours a week and seems to run every year if they get the funding.
