3390 Italian abbreviation

Just wondering if anyone could help me out with an Italian abbrevation. When looking at the layouts of some Italian homes I've noticed small rooms that are labeled "RIP", and I have no idea what this means. If anyone knows I'd really like to find out.

Don't mention it. If you have a [I]skeleton [/I]in the closet (most Italians have several), I suppose you could write RIP on the door !
