11924 Latest Movies

I don't know whether anyone has seen this site, or tried it, but it is probably a lot better than Sky for the latest films.

Thanks Geo

I couldn't get the site to work for me, do I need some special gizmos PIR2PIR or something. You can tell I have no idea.

Download this software and follow the instructions. It should then work. Close the hotspotshield program after you get the movie site open and you should have no more problems

Hi Guys
I had a look at Watchman, which of course is a cam, but 7 pounds was also a cam , which was a little surprising, there are better quality versions available, at AXXO, or mininova...............happy hunting

Hi
just spotted Francesco's Mediterranean Voyage

Arts, Travel Documentary hosted by Francesco Da Mosto ........part 1 of 12 on mininova
:winki::winki::winki:

This isn't meant as a criticism, but purely an enquiry. Is this downloading of movies legal? Is it more legal to download a bit torrent stream and watch it, or less legal to write it to DVD? Does anybody have an opinion?

Moved to : Italiauncovered.co.uk

or, if belive in the value of creatives and luvvies, you'll never do it.

I suppose I'm a bit of a dinosaur, and though I'm not really scared of being caught, I do feel uncomfortable 'stealing' stuff which I might otherwise pay for.
So - I would have absolutely no hesitation in downloading Francesco Mosto, or anything else which was made for telly and has been aired, but I would get a guilty frisson about downloading (say) Slumdog Millionaire which I can watch next week at my local flea pit for €7. Besides which, the flea pit has surround sound which my monitor doesn't....oh, I've just looked.... if I had the requisite number of speakers it can outshine any cinema sound system except (maybe) an Imax!

This seems a related issue, if anybody is interested. Wireless media streamers on test - Times Online

"Wireless media streamers let you play computer-stored video — and even view YouTube clips and Flickr photos — on your television. We test five devices."
Here is a review of one of the five devices.

BEST FOR THE TECHNICALLY ADEPT
POPCORN HOUR A110 £199
Small, silent and capable of handling the biggest range of file formats of all devices on test, the A110 is a cult product among techie types. Add a hard drive and its built-in filesharing software allows it to download internet video, even when your PC is switched off. It can be tricky to use, however, and is a little fussy with audio — we found some files simply refused to play. But if your idea of fun is tinkering with the box to fix glitches such as this, it represents excellent value.
Verdict Bursting with potential, if you know how to harness it.

I digress but as the title of the thread is Latest Movies I hope to have my question answered.
I miss seeing films in English at the cinema. The Pavone in Perugia shows them at times but I have heard that one can go to cinema's such Warner Village and if it is an American or English film originally, that is being shown in Italian, one can ask for special headphones and hear the film in it's original language (English for me). Has anyone experience or any info about this please?

If you would like to see the new Woody Allen (something with Vicky Barcelona in the title), or Slumdog Millionnaire, in English, you need travel no further than Castglione del Lago, Noble. The Woody Allen is on 4 April, and Slumdog on May 9: 6pm start (to please the Britpack!), cost €7.00.

There may be another season of English language films (with Italian subtitles), since this year's series has been very well attended. Keep an eye on www.lagodarte.com/cantierecinema .

Thanks Charles most useful. Seen Slumdog but missed the Barcelona.

But what about the headphones? Is it true. Does anyone know?
