9325 Enel's virtual upgrade service

I increased our power supply from 3 to 6 kw on the enel website last January. It seemed suspiciously easy at the time. The subsequent bill included a charge for "oneri diversi" of E256 plus IVA. When we went to the house last month we found the supply unchanged and spent another week eking out the 3kw. My email to Enel provoked a reply asserting that the supply had been upgraded in January. Whilst I feel deeply and uniquely privileged to have received a reply, I don't feel any closer to getting what I've paid for. I presume that somebody did something on a computer remotely and that our meter has failed to respond. It's not a case of old or dated equipment: both the outside meter and the internal fuse box were fitted new last year. We even got a new pole. The power was switched off inside when the upgrade was allegedly enacted- could this have prevented it from working? Thoughts/comments welcome.

We did the same this year , and paid about 600E ( you had a real result ) have you had any power cuts since , if you have, and you look at the meter, there will be a figure flashing away, this is how much you went over, then all you have to do is work out roughly what was on, if it was @ 3kw, then there was no change over,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,good luck

Excuse my ignorance but we have a switch thingy in the outside box alongside the meter and when we exceed the 3kw it throws out , don't they upgrade with a new breaker switch giving you 6kw or are things more compl;icated?
