Following on from his successful series on Venice, he's apparently now doing a new series called 'Italy: Top to toe'. Will be shown on BBC2 in the summer.
They were talking about it last night during the BBC2 coverage of the Olympics opening ceremony. They then showed a clip of one of the programmes which covered Turin. Could be something to look forward to.

Thanks for that DerekL, I shall be looking forward to this series, as Venice was brilliant. I watched the opening ceremonys last night but had to leave half way through, quite enjoyed it too.:)

Hello DerekL,

thanks come from me as well regarding this new series on Italy. I too enjoyed the "Venice" series. Any programmes showing the different regions/history of Italy are very much appreciated. I feel like I am there myself, although only in spirit, even though I shall still be here in London.
Something to look forward to in the summer.
