Lungarotti in Torgiano (famous for their Rubesco) have a very nice cantina just on the outskirts of Torgiano, and they also have a very interesting wine museum in the centre of this small town, which in itself is worth a walk around. www.lungarotti.it
There is a lovely old castle attachd to the cantina of Goretti close to Pila (really almost a suburb of Perugia), where they make "L'Arringatore", a powerful red aged in oak. Thy also do an oak aged white (rather unusual) calld "Il Moggio". www.vinigoretti.it is their link. This cantina does "loose" wine - more than drinkable at about 1,50 euros a litre.
we found a lovely cantina in Montefalco - about 7 KMs from Foligno. They do the Arquata wine which is very hard to beat. The white is just as good but very different from the Lungarotti.
