Offers usually start on Thursdays, so that will be next Thursday, but I've thrown the leaflet thing away, I'm off shopping anyway tomorrow so will double check for you Tak and let you know.

Paula,
Thanks for the info - went shopping lunchtime today & pretty much bought one of everything - so I'm all sorted for a while!!
Now just need the sun to come out over the Easter break so I can sit in the garden, sipping my Italian wine, wishing I was somewhere else......!:)

For anybody who finds Limoncello a little too sweet, I can highly recommend the Crema di Limoncino at £4.99 from Lidl. I got a bottle last night and am just finishing the last of it off tonight. Its delish and I also bought some fab Grappa glasses for £1.99 for 6 which have a wine glass stem then a little bulb on the top for a liquors.

Hi elizaj, I haven't seen anything like that, and a quick search on the net didn't produce anything either. I could have looked in my recipe books but after a flood a couple of weeks ago, all got ruined and the assessor has taken them away... I am sure somebody will recognise your description and let you know if there is another name. Good luck in your search anyhow..;)

Ric,
It was fab. The only problem was and my error entirely ,I didnt have a 16inch pan ,so I used a 12inch and it(the pie) was a bit tall!....but I managed the dough and everything!!!!:D
If I make it again I will get a 16inch pan and only use 1 lb of potatoes!
Washed it all down with a nice sicilian red on special from sainsburys called Palo estate (less than 3 quid a bottle)!:o
Thank you ever so much!
The soups thingy sounds good ,are you a bit of a chef?

Oh drat! Just seen this post and have already stocked up on wine for easter from tesco and Sainsburys. If anyone is interested I can definately recommend the Sangiovese from Tesco at £2.99 a bottle and the Prosecco di Valdobedienne at £5.99 a bottle. Have to avoid limoncello at the moment as I got a bit carried away with it a few weeks ago!! I think the prosecco at Lidl is good value but is not di Valdobedienne which is the better one. I might still pop in though and buy some, its rude not to at that price!! Three weeks until I go to italy to start my new job and I still dont know where I will be!! Hoping for Taormina!
Havn't a Lidl in San Vito but Eurospin is just a cheap........;)
