I've been trying the 5 ingredients rules from Gianni (the good looking one from Saturday kitchen, oh I suddenly got a wave of rage about Anthony Wormwell Thompson) and it does seem to work.
We have been experimenting cooking in italy with chorizo (I know I know but our area has been Spanish) sausage, toms, a pinch of paprika or chilli, olive oil with pasta. Or a simple lemon juice and zest, flambeed brandy, cream and spagetti. Or the orrichetti with broccolli, anchovys, chilli, parmesan.
Easy, quick and tasty, the ingredients dont fight each other you can still taste each one.
Anyone else tried this rule and have any yummy ingredients? :D :p :D

Pasta, olive oil, lemon, parsley, chickpeas and parmesan cheese. Ok, so 6 ingredients but if you don't count the pasta...
