9761 Great place for towels (NW England)

If anyone is looking for good quality towels at a good price then the Christie Mill shop in Hyde (nr Manchester) is fantastic. Christies were the people who brought towels to the UK (form Turkey ) and they are really good quality. The also have outlet shops at places like Cheshire oaks but at the mill shop they have more choice and will do a deal for quantity. Because of the quantities we wanted, we have ordered a range that is only just going into the retail shops at 50% discount and then an extra 10% for bulk buying - existing ranges and end of lines have better prices but you can't always get everything in all sizes. We also got beach towels for £5 each less 10% and they are much better quality than you would get in Matalan or similar. They also do bedding and some soft furnishings (lovely cushiions for bedrooms for a fiver each). Best time to go is about a month after the sales when they get stuff sent back to them from their retial outlets.
