I would just like to say that I have found IT forum to be full of wonderful, intelligent, kind, understanding, challenging, funny people and, although it's only cyberspace &, we may never come face to face with the folks here, I love it. I must or I wouldn't keep coming back. I would miss the funny posts that entertain me in the long winter months when we see very little of folk. I do feel I “know” certain personalities, & there is kindness & sincerity from others when times get tough. I have been a member for 3 years & feel that it cannot just be a place for people to find information on Italy, but a place to hear chat, gossip, and the occasional ragging does go on. I know that at times people can be unkind, rude, abusive, cruel, but they are often the same people who offer the most help & advice & kindness to others. Some people DO get on your wick, some people DO spoil threads, some people ARE deliberatively provocative, & some people DO need a slap. I can manage to cope with them most times, but even I get agitated by some. :bigergrin:
Ignoring someone is probably the most unkind thing you can do to them. Most people would rather be abused than ignored… Secondo me. Isolation & lonliness is appaling
