1393 Airline/airpot strike info

Hi, have found this site useful - can subscribe (FOC) and get up-to-date info on air traffic strikes - this was extremely useful to me last month when I was able to re-schedule my flights to italy ( before the travel agent had even heard about the strikes) to a non-strike day.

As my husband was stranded at Stansted with 2 elderly parents, one small son and a ton of luggage after one of these strikes in May thats a really useful site to know about - thanks Sharon. At the time Ryanair professed it was all a surprise but the Italians on the flight were aware of the possibility - with this we would have been too and could have rebooked like you. As it was they had a 6 hour delay then a flight to Rome rather than Ancona (no flights available to Ancona for 2 days) then had to hire a new car - can't cancel the original one on the same day - at vast cost and drive over the mountains arriving at 2 a.m.
It was a very Grrrrr day. Be great to avoid it again!
