287 In and around Lucca

Just wondering if anyone either lives or has visited the Lucca area. This will be our third visit to Lucca and are wondering if anyone can give us some more great restaurants besides Da Leo's (in our opinion the best in Lucca). Also, does anyone know of any beauty salons in Lucca, I cannot find any.

Not much help but - I am sure I have seen a beauty salon in the streets of Lucca but can't remember where sorry.
But a good idea might be to find the monthly english magazine called Grapevine in a newsagents - which I'm sure was published for english 'speaking' people living in the Lucca area.
hope it helps

Our favourite restaurant in Lucca is the Olive tree they specialise in traditional Lucchesi food. My favourite is the rabbit with olives but the Tortelli is to die for!
