2946 Regions of Italy

Hi guys,

Following up from a couple of posts on the 'Isn't it cold?' thread.... I wonder what you think about discussing the pros & cons (steady!!) of the various regions which are hardly ever covered on the forum...

So far, we've had lots of insights into Puglia, Tuscany and Abruzzo... but how about some more 'quiet' areas, such as Piemonte, Veneto, Lazio, Sicilia, to name but a few...

We could have a new region each week to discover (incl those already mentioned regularly) ... and any issues from living, working, history, art & culture, people ... to general stuff... could be shared and discussed!

What do you think??

Cheers! :)

General chat about Italy

I think this is a great idea. I know that I do have a lot of questions on a number of regions in Italy and if there are members here with the knowledge to answer them I would be really grateful.

Good idea as long as it does not end up in a slanging match! Everyone is always biased and thinks that their region is the best! Personally we felt we would have been happy living anywhere in Italia. Ended up in Lazio because it is a beautiful and diverse region, the rest of Italy and the world is easily accessible!!
