296 Forte dei Marmi

Has anyone ever been to Forte dei Marmi? What is there to do there? Any restaurants that are noteworthy? May you rent chairs there, etc... Any information would help. Thanks. :)

apart from the market,it's a pleasant place a slightly up market seaside resort which probably saw it's apex in the late sixties early seventies.Plenty of valid restaurants of which a fair number should be open by around May.Nevertheless it's a true seaside place and as such out of season may not be the most interesting place to be

Thanks. I will be there at the end of June. Any other suggestions from anyone? My daughter lives in Bologna and will marry a very nice Italian man in June. The whole family is traveling over for the wedding, along with a number of friends. Someone suggested that we visit Forte dei Marmi. So, we will all be traveling to this site by rented bus. I was just trying to get as much info ahead of time as possible. I live in the United States.
