333 Mobile home wanted

Has anyone purchased a second hand mobile home in Italy?
We are about to begin over seeing a project on a property, near Bagni di Lucca, Tuscany, and are considering purchasing a mobile home which we will put in the garden of the property so that we will have a base for our visits.
has anyone done this?
Do we need permission to locate the mobile home in the garden?
Would be grateful for any help or suggestions.

We searched high and low for mobile homes to buy but really came up with nothing. There were plenty of motorhomes and small caravans for sale though.

In the end we went off the idea and rented somewhere while we wait for our house to be ready.

Try contacting the big companies that do holidays in Italy in sited caravans, [such as Eurocamp, Keycamp etc]. They sell off their old vans on a regular basis - and the vans are in pretty good condition.

I know in France you can buy a holiday home caravan [slightly less than a full blown mobile home] and have them relocate it to your site in France, so I assume someone does the same in Italy.

Thanks for suggesting the holiday companies.
Only found 1 selling off mobile homes and they were in France.
Haven't given up yet though.
