3556 problem with map

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but. Having clicked onto the map then clicked onto satelite the detail in the brown area is fantastic,the problem for me is that it doesn't cover my area. Is it possible to move the brown super detail area???

Hi Chris, it is not something you did that wrong. Google Maps use satellite information that is several years old in some cases so all you can do is wait for images to be updated. They promised they will be doing that in the upcoming months.

Don't worry Chris, your not on your own. The area I'm in isn't very clear so we'll just have to wait patiently for the upgrade.. It is nice to look at other landmarks in the world though and when My husband was making his way down to Puglia in October I could follow his route and some parts of Italy were really clear, so clear I could even make out boats in a harbour.
