I am moving to Ferrara this year, and would like to know if there are internet service providers in italy or do you pay for every minute of using a normal land line cheers brendon

You can try FastWeb, it's very popular in Italy. Where about in Ferrara, are you going?

Dear Ivan, I am moving to Ferrara in a few weeks and will be renting whilst i am having a house built, but i haven't sorted my address,as i am going out to italy in the next 2 weeks Brendon

yes there are and you can ask telecom, (BT) infostrada, tiscali, soem have adsl some not, depending on the area, some are fixed amount and some per minute, search the net!
