569 Setting Up Home - Marche

Does anybody have any recommendations for the following around the Fermo area.
Although not furnishing the house and garden until next Spring it would be useful know what's available locally.

*Antique Markets
*Furniture stores
*Garden Centres
*Reclamation Yards

Also in one of the Forums it was suggested that Ikea would be setting up in Pescara, this would be useful for some of the smaller items and save a journey to Florence or Rome.

There are quite a few smaller garden centres on the Fermo to Amandola road, near Piano di Montegiorgio. Not sure about antique markets, the Ancona Ikea will be a little closer, loads of small furniture stores in the area, but, not large recognisable names, there is a company called Stock house, again off the Amandola road which is a furniture specialist, always worth a look.
There is a building labelled Reclamè (you can quess which road it's off :) ) there are a choice of furniture stores in the commercial zone at Civitanova Marche, handily, just at the exit from the Autostrada.

Try Marini in Servigliano for furniture.

There is an antigue market in Fermo every Thursday evening in July & August and one in Ascoli on the third Sunday of each month. There is also a huge one in San Benedetto del Tronto on the last weekend in June. A word of warning though - they are expensive!

Also try the valdaso road to Pedaso from Comunanza for garden centres. We have founf no reclamation yards in this part of Marche.
