very well done to mother and daughter

Congratulations

Hope you get some sleep soon:eerr:

Maybe this is not the sort of question you will feel like answering right now but I thought I would ask anyway because you are the only person I know who is nearby:

I have been told that limonella has a micro- climate and would like to know more about the typical and maximum temperature extremes that occur there compared with the surrounding areas at same altitude.

All the best again to the two of you.

hey there sdoj welcome back!!

Do you mean Limone (sul Garda)? Never heard of Limonello. Yes there is a so-called microclimate (but I thought it was for most of the lake), that's why lemon groves, olive groves and vines thrive there. Don't know about any temperature details though. All I know is that our weather is definitely milder and sunnier in winter than say, a town called Manerbio about 45 minutes south-west of us (which in winter is cold and very foggy) and in summer there is a nice breeze, particularly in the northern half of the lake, which you don't get on the flatter plains just south. Try contacting the folks at gardameteo.it, they should know more about it.

I hope this was what you were referring to, anyway :reallyembarrassed::reallyembarrassed:

Congratulations and well done Mum.

Welcome to the world little baby girl:smile:

Auguri Molti!
Let's hope the little one soon settles into doing this the whole night through.:bigergrin:

My Warmest Congratulations On The Birth Of Your Baby Girl, Sarah[/CENTER]

So what ya gonna call the new sproglette then eh? Is she as smart and clever as her mamma?

As my old dad used to day, it's the first 25 years that are the worst...
my daughter arrived on 16th Jan, now 22 years old, so I think dad wasn't quite right on that one...

Congratulations and best wishes to all.

congratulations! And on the trials and tribulations of having a baby in Italy (I'm assuming she was born in italy?).

Our best wishes to you all.
Angie

Congratulations on the birth of your little girl. Enjoy every single moment with her as each one is as precious as the other, even the ones when you are tired.
Maralyn

Many congratulations and glad to hear you are both well. Hope you both get enough sleep and enjoy each other... the baby stage goes so fast.

Congratulations- what's 2.975kg in old money?

thanks!

Rather than click a million grazies thought I'd do it here..
2.975 kg in old money is about 6lbs 5 oz....

katier yes she was born in Italy, and it was a fantastic experience unlike the first (also born in Italy) 11 years ago... unbelievably good treatment and service, for free I think I got the equivalent of a very expensive private clinic in the UK.

Great to hear about the fantastic experience and the excellent treatment and service. I think that all mothers deserve only the best for themselves and their babies. Try to get a good rest before going back to work.
