Hi there,

I'm really pleased to have found this forum. My wife and I love Italy and this forum will be a place where we can read and see lovely pics. March 2006 we go on our first Med cruise with Costa, one of the Italian cruise lines, we are so excited at the thought.

welcome to the site. Yes I think you will indeed enjoy looking at all the lovely pictures and reading various threads.

No doubt you are looking forward to your cruise. Have you been on a cruise before? Just out of curiosity, where are your ports of call going to be on the cruise?

I have only been on one cruise, but it was so nice to wake up the next morning and find yourself in a different port/country.:)

Yes we have cruised the Med before with a couple of different cruise lines. This time we sail on the "Costa Fortuna" from Savona (Italia) day 2 at sea, day 3 Tripoli (Libya) days 4&5 at sea, day 6 Heraklion (Crete) day 7 Katakolon/Olympia (Greece) day 8 at sea and day 9 back at Savona. Day 5 we should see the Total Eclipse of the sun on the 29th March. We just love to cruise!!:) We had seen the "Fortuna" many times and thought we must try her out!! Costa have beautiful ships and a cracking website. Where did you cruise, and did you enjoy it?
