2285 Hello i am probably on the wrong bit

Hello all I am new to this forum, but in need of some advice. I am going to Italy for 6 months in April and i am taking my car. How do I go about insurance, is there a company that will insure me for this length of time, as my current insurance Norwich Union will only cover me for 90 days.

Any advice would be great.
