2509 Heeeere's Johnny

Hello All,

I live in the Friuli region and have been here for 12 years. Before that I lived near Castiglione D. Stiviere in Mantova (near Lago di Garda) for 10.5 years.
I arrived in Italy when I was 19 from Texas. I was in the USAF and did my entire military career here except for one year in Korea. My wife is from Brescia.

No, I am not your stereotyped US GI who never left the base. I learned Italian when I travelled for work and hunted for girls!!! I have worked in and visited places most Italians never even heard of.

Anyway, don't want to give all my info on the first date...I am pretty well versed in Italian life and politics so maybe I can help someone or learn somthing from somone else.
