Hi,
we are a couple from Yorkshire visiting Abruzzo in July with the hope of buying our dream property.
Can anyone on the forum who have recently purchased a property in Aruzzo offer some advice? sharing your experiences about the process and areas to consider would be helpful.

I am moving to the Abruzzo region in July, initially to rent in order to have the time to find our dream property, so I cannot offer the help you have requested, but good luck anyway.

Do you have any children doing the move with you?

Good luck with the move, there are several threads about buying in Abruzzo, if you click "search" at top of the page and type in "property"+ "abruzzo" you will have plenty to go on.

Welcome Trish; good luck with all your planning.

As well as the search GeorgeS pointed out, try looking for a thread titled somehting like [i]Advise for a property virgin[/i]; it seems to stick in my mind(!) as covering all the really good (generic) advice you'll need. Try searching for [i]virgin[/i].
