I have been an expat for two years now but have lived in Rome. All of a sudden my work are moving me to Venice so it's time to start again and hopefully meet some new people along the way.
Are there any English speakers in the Venice area? I'm a 28 year old woman, likes her wine and food and an Italy nut.
Anyone know of any meets?

How wonderful to be living in Venice. I have a small apartment there and try and get over there about once a month, more if I can afford the time off work. Do you work in the wine industry ? Any tips on good Veneto wines would be appreciated !
