8836 Casciana, Nr. Casola in Lunigiana

Hi! My name is Rosie, and last year I bought a house in the small village of Casciana - beautiful views, friendly people, - but my Italian is still rather limited, although I am learning fast. We are going out there for Easter, and again in May - is there anyone on the Forum who lives in that area and who can tell me or suggest to me a handyman who is reliable? My husband has Parkinsons disease, and finds simple tasks quite difficult, and I could do with a local contact who is willing to come and do simple handyman tasks when the need arises - putting on broken loo seats, fixing blinds - that sort of thing. Is there anyone in that area offering property maintenance? I love it there - unspoilt and peaceful - but could do with a bit of advice from anyone in the area.

Hi Rosie,

welcome to the area. Did you notice I sent you a private message? I'd be happy to help out if and when needed as long as it doesn't involve complex plumbing jobs, tiling or plastering.

All the best
