8842 Buongiorno

Ciao to all you Italy Lovers,

This is my first message on the forum, although I have been reading many of the threads already on there which I have found very useful.

I have recently bought a farmhouse in Tuscany close to a beautiful medieval village called Vellano in Pescia. It needs some renovation and modernisation but it is in fabulous spot on the side of a mountain looking across the valley.

This will be a holiday home for now but I am looking to move out there on a permanent basis in the next few years.

I would love to hear from anyone in the area or indeed anyone who fancies a chat about all things Italian - I love it!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase. Do you have any connections with Italy apart from just loving it?

I hope you find the forum useful and no doubt you will hear from people who are closer to your neck of the woods in time. There are quite a few members with places in Tuscany.
