11854 Just Wondered what happened to Aunty P's thread this morning?

Hi Marc

I'm confused. Please could you explain why so many posts were deleted.
Thanks

The thread was great while it lasted but when amusing "digs" became blatant personal attacks, surely there was no other option but delete?
I ( placing neck firmly on the block ) suggested to Marc that the 2 most abusive posts be removed. I hope that others had also. Those of us who read the offending posts can be in no doubt. Fun is fun. Cruelty, no.
Anyhow sunshine beckons, I'm off out!

Whereas posts were deleted, not enough in my opinion.. I asked Admin last night to delete everything from the bottom of Page 3, basically to rescind the thread back to its former glory. It's still tainted alas.

Sorry I think the posts were and that since the offenders are on my Ignore List that's why I cannot see the deletions.

However Marc was able to delete my post on Jojo's thread cleanly. My point therefore is that he could have done the same in Perse's. with an aside as to the reason, of course.

Behind the cloaks and daggers, cartoon avatars and funny signatures, there are real people.

What is said, cannot be unsaid, even if it is deleted.

To those of you who enjoyed Agony Auntie Persephone as much as I did, thank you. I enjoyed her enormously.

She will not, however, be coming back. The ‘magic’ has gone.

I believe in self awareness, self control and the self regulation of the forum.

I will not be deleting my posts on the Auntie Persephone thread because they represent an accurate record of my feelings at the time.
