I don't think you read my original post. The group lists that only 2 messages are there and that Heiko was the last poster. There are 3 messages and I posted last. I also have this weird note in my post: "This Message is Moderated".
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
Sorry Lisa. That wasn't clear in your initial post. The thread you mean then is "Intrigue", now deleted (at my request).

Only two messages are showing up, both by Helko. The last one is answer to Helen. So both her post and your\s have disappeared - weird
Cork Talk Group has a glitch as well as the Aunt. P. thread. I posted yesterday but it still lists Heiko as the last poster. It also shows 2 posts but there are actually three.
Sal, let's start over. In my original thread I said the above.
My post does show in cork talk but Heiko is listed as the last poster in the section on the right. There are 3 messages but only 2 show. Heiko also replied to Helen as you have said but her post is not there.
The other thread that I cannot get into is the Dear Aunt Persphone thread. Others have discussed not being able to get in as well in "Puzzled" in the CIrcolo section.

Unless Heiko, who 'owns' the group has chosen to moderate posts in the group - which is an option - it sounds to me as if this is a minor glitch (which was occurring when groups were first available on this forum).
Even though Heiko probably does not want to moderate posts, she will be able to do so, and when she goes to the group she will probably be able to make all the posts visible.
Still, it does sound to me like the earlier groups glitch raising its head agan, and hopefully admin can sort it out.
I doubt it has anything in common with the strange behaviour of the Auntie Persephone thread.

What ACTUALLY happened with the Auntie Persephone thread, is that Auntie P. flushed out a wart. Unfortunately she started to scratch it and the wart became a nasty viral rash that is now all over the forum.
I would even suggest that the lesser known 'Auntie Persephone' Viral Rash has killed off the better known 'RyanAir' Infection.
Unfortunately, it would seem that I have brought across the lesser know 'Auntie Persephone' Viral Rash to The Groups, having joined Heiko's Cork Talk Group yesterday.

The virus, clearly, from it's name - which is an anagram of Auntie Persphone - manifests itself (as was discussed on the earlier agony aunt thread) in the bladder and colon department.

Is the Group one, which is Moderated? If that is the case I think all posts must be approved by the Group’s creator before they appear as messages. Or it may just be another feature of this excellent forum

Pissed in the post

Blimey, I'm so infected I don't think Heiko has even seen my contribution to the new group.
I may, however, have a theory on the 'This Message is Moderated'.
Shamefully (but in my defence this is a private group and, as far as I understand, about alcohol), I did use the word 'pissed' in my post.:reallyembarrassed:.
Could that have triggered an 'alarm' that this post needed a 'grown up' to check it?

Lisa Hi I have posted twice in Cork Talk Group and the posts too have been "moderated". The text was in fact unaltered so I think the problem lies in the Moderator's Control Panel and Helko can sort it out easily. It's not really a Forum gltch,

Nielo,
I don't think it's moderated as I was able to post right away last night. There is something quirky going on though as there are 4 posts but only 3 show up in the right-hand side and as I stated before, last night I was the last poster but is showed Heiko's name.
I have now posted another message so there are 5 posts but the right-hand side still only says 3 messages and still lists Heiko as the last poster. Help admin!
Percy's threads aren't there though which is bizarre. Perhaps she's been banished to the leper colony!

Anybody posting in a group can see their own messages before they are moderated. Presumably in the mistaken belief that one is not capable of beng offensive to oneself!
