3562 need help

My friend lives in italy. she is very upset because her husband abused her daily also he want to give her divorce. she is indian and her husband is also indian doing government job. she is not doing any job and can't speak italian. Is the comune (muncipality) help her to provide her house and to learn italian language, help to get job? She is helpless. Is there any social society to help her??

Maybe she could check with the local Cath. church, some priests speak English - I assume she does?

It depends where she lives in Italy, because some comuni have better services than others, but generally the answer is yes.
My advice is to ask for help to "sevizi sociali" at the comune.
