3189 Looking for real estate sales agent in Liguria.

We have an apartment ready for renovation in little mountaintop village north of San Remo (can see lights of Monaco at night from top of village!). Official "permissions" have been granted by commune (this took 1 1/2 years!!!) and it is ready for renovation. Balcony overlooks central piazza on one side and blacony on other end looks to the sea. Charming, delightful village, good restaurants, etc. Should we renovate or should we sell? We have been "stiffed" by one contractor and hate to sink more money into a money pit. If it is saleable we need to consider this. Any ideas?

Hi Muffin,

Welcome to the forum. You might send a PM to Cassini. She lives nearby and is very familiar with the area and agent situation. I'm sure she can give you a good perspective about what options there are. She has had work done on her place, and has good connections.

Hope this helps :)
Dee

I could give you the names of a number of agents in the area who might be able to help. We have a place not far away (Dolcedo). PM me if you are interested (you could combine it with the PM about roofers:) ).

Which village is the apartment in?

I would have thought that Sanremo agents and those in Vallecrosia would be your logical geographic ones. There is always the little one Il Rustico in Camporosso too.
