This from this morning's "Metro" - one of London's freebie papers which I browsed on my way to work (sigh):Dancing_unhappy:
On the subject of B&B (I abbreviate)
- You have to live in the B&B accommodation
- Can have a max of 3 double bedrooms to sleep a max of six guests to avoid being classed an hotel
- Restrictions on bedroom floor area (not stated)
- need not register for IVA if closed for B&B for at least 90 days pa
- need not issue receipts if 90 day rule is met
- 90 days need not be a single consecutive period of days
All to be taken with appropriate caution given the article refers to the commune (sic) as the authority.

The guys in the open air market can't sell me a crappy plastic piece of junk without a receipt. Or for that matter the local shop can't sell me a slice of pizza.
