10103 Booking problems Ryanair

Hi anyone else having problems booking online flights, I tried 2 hours yesterday, the site kept saying that I had put letters into the phone no box ( not correct), then it said both cards tried delined, ( used these at the garage last night and they were OK) then could not connect to site, ( trying gain today site gets so far then shuts down, each time I get so far as the see the prices...... change each time i got that far.....now the flights have tripled from yesterday, (Was the delaying tactic a ploy or am cynical today.
Still trying to book, but at this rate......... it is like the stock exchange but the prices are rising by the minute.

There's a note on the homepage notifying and not apologising though, for the slowness of the website. If you click on it you get the full explanation Ryanair.com - Notice : FLIGHT BOOKING/ONLINE CHECK-IN SYSTEM SLOW

They never had problems like this "in the good old days"!!!

Thanks..........This is the same message they had up in June, same problems then.....when it took me 3 days to book and 2 days to get the boarding passes.
They say their profits are down due to rising cost of Fuel a falling passenger numbers, maybe that those that can use other companies for flights are doing so, for convienance we just like the Stansted / Perugia flight, wish some else did it.

Their mistake perhaps was to overhaul an already excellent website recently alas..

Having at last managed to book our flights, I received an email from ryanair to say that we will need id and the booking ref to pick up our tickets from checkin, does this mean that they not longer have the facility to print out the boarding passes online????? :wideeyed:
I have replied to ask this, but as it has taken them over a week to send this notificaction I guess we will be at the airport before it arrives.
Anyone travelled recently to give their experience?????

We bboked at the beginning of July for travel at the end of July. At that time it would not allow us to select the option to check in on line so we had to pay the check in fee and check in at the airport. At checkin they did not know why we could not check in on line (an didn't offer to refund the airport checkin fee).

I booked a flight last night for end September and it has let me select the check in on line option so perhaps it is all part of the glitch they have been having. I can now see the prices for flights including taxes whereas before I couldn't or it would crash.

Thanks fo info

It did allow me to select the check in online so cannot understand, I will try to obtain the boarding passes over the weekend ( flight Wednesday ) and keep everyone updated, it is so frustating as you cannot get them to respond. It seems that they website needs some urgent attiention.
A freind tried to book online and they said that they could not process her card at the time, '' try later'' later the flights had increased by £20 each, Sneaky one.

Nothing sinister. It's simple. Tthe "newish" website is a disaster by all accounts.
