1820 Any new destinations for Ryan Air in Italy?

I've heard a rumor that Ryan Air is to being flying into Perugia. Has anyone heard any news of this? If so, when are they due to begin this service?

We stayed in Umbria this August and the Hotelier said there was a good chance that Ryanair would be flying into Perugia by next season.
Apparently they would have to extend the runway a little to enable the flights to land safely.

Construction work has now started on the runway extension at Perguia, due for completion September 2006 and rumour has it that Ryanair will then commence flights. More info can be found at [url]www.airport.umbria.it[/url]
