Yes...Ryanair are back in Lamezia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stansted-Lamezia at least 3-4 days a week to start with and then more through the summer. Book online now -we have! we got 2 returns flights in March for 1p each, each way, total with taxes under £50 for both of us.We have an apartment in San Nicola Arcella and have waited for this to happen since we bought it. Naples is fine but Lamezia is just so much easier.
We also rent out our apartment and have taken 2 bookings since these flights were announced just on the strength of the fact that the flights were so cheap!

Hi Leeandanna,

My name is Teresa. My husband and I also have an apartment in San Nicola Arcella. We bought our apartment a year last October. We though we were the only British in San Nicola. We have an apartement in Residence La Perla.

That is great news about Lamezia, as we always fly to Naples and were hoping that when the airport at Scalea opened Easy Jet or Ryanair would fly there. I am going on line just now to look at flights.

Hi Teresa,

We are in Eden Park, not far from you.Supposedly there are a few English owners in the village although we haven't met any yet! We bought our apartment through Andiamo Homes who are UK based but have a partner who is based in the village, his office is at the rear of Bar La Mela. The English company owner, Annie, has a house in the Centro Storico but we haven't met her yet either.
We've got a left hand drive English registered car out there but it is due for MOT in April so we are going over in March on the new (cheap) Lamezia route to see what the journey is like and maybe bring the car back.
Do you go over often?, we've not been in August yet but everyone tells us that it's manic and too busy, do you know how busy it really is at that time of year?
