2422 Pula, Sardinia

We are looking at a holiday to Pula, Cagliari in Sardinia. Does anyone know what it is like in that area? We have 2 small children so the beaches appeal but dont know what the surrounding countryside is like so any information would be appreciated thank you.

Hi there!
My husband ( who is Scottish) and i spent our honeymoon in Sardinia, and we loved it. We were in the north, in the baia di orosei, but we travelled around, went to Alghero, Porto Cervo, etc... it is amazing.
We never went to Cagliari, the white city... I suppose it is going to be a bit warmer down there...the food is amazing and people from sardinia are very nice.
You will have a fab holiday!

Pula's fine but to the east of Cagiliari is better.The beaches are very child friendly(on some you can walk out 200 yards and the waters only up to your knees).

Thank you for your replies, alas on investigating flights we found it too difficult a trip with the young ones from Glasgow! The timings were awful so we are now looking at flying into Rome again, still 2 flights but at least the times are decent. Must get back to searching now for somewhere in Lazio!! Fiona
