2786 Scuba in Abruzzo

Does anyone have experience of scuba in a range of 100k North or South of pescara? Also does anyone know of scuba clubs in this area?

Hope you can help as I am dying to get wet.

We are scuba divers too but we're down in Puglia and still finding out for ourselves. I believe notaio is nearer your part of Italy and a scuba diver, hopefully he may help. We haven't dived for over a year now and are desperate to get wet too!

You're very welcome to come and try a freshwater dive here in Umbria, HTB, in Italy's 2nd largest lake, Lago Trasimeno. With a maximum depth of 8m, there's zero risk of decompression sickness and you won't need a to lug a weight belt around, (or, come to think of it, an aqualung) The local wildlife's pretty good too; there have been several sightings of Italy Magazine's editor in the area ;-)
