Check this link out. It seems there is one in theory but not functioning at the moment for some reason. Ludicrous eh??? ADR - Aeroporti di Roma Official Site - Getting here
Does anybody know if there is a shuttle from Ciampino to Fiumicino? I have tried the Ciampino site but got no joy.
No, but there is a shuttle to Ciampino railway station for 1€ from Schiaffini (tel: (06) 791 9800 or 800 700 805; website: Schiaffini SpA - Home page they run a cheap service from Ciampino airport to Ciampino train station or Anagnina metro station (line A).
From Anagnina, it is a direct 30-minute metro journey to Termini station; from Ciampino station, it is a direct 15-minute journey to Termini station. The bus runs from early morning until late at night, but there are also night buses from Ciampino airport to Termini railway station.
Other options include the Terravision shuttle service direct to Roma Termini (8€) (website: www.terravision.it). Or Schiaffini run their own slightly cheaper service. Tickets can be bought from a booth in the arrivals hall in Ciampino or online for Terravision.
I use the shuttle to Ciampino train station on weekdays but the coach direct at weekends, when the traffic is not a problem.
At Termini station there are loads of trains going to Fiumicino, It is shown on the destination boards (unlike Ciampino) you can buy a ticket at one of the machines in the terminus or (if you are using the station at Ciampino) buy a ticket for Fiumicino via Roma Termini.
If you are not used to Italian trains the only thing to remember it to validate your ticket (obliterare) in one of the yellow machines on the platforms before you start your journey. The train station at Fiumicino is right inside the terminal, you can walk to check-in about 5 minutes.

There is quite nice food & snacks available at Termini if you need to eat or have time to kill.
I hope this is not too much information for you but I transit through Rome about once a month...................
Buon anno
