Hi
No guarantees I know but can anyone advise what the weather is generally like in April. Thinking of getting away with kids for a few days during school break and wondering if Sicily a good bet. We go to northern Tuscany in summer but hear it can be a bit wet April time.
Also only spent a day a couple of days in Sicily in Catania and Taormina before so would apreciate any recomendations on areas or places to stay (pref agritourismo but good for kids and possibility of swimming / beach etc at this time of year)?
Many Thanks

Sicily in April can be upper 20's centigrade - my brother was here last April and they were at the beach every day. Obviously Im partial, but think about the south east corner - Modica, Ragusa, Siracusa - its completely different to the north east, more Yorkshire Dales but with better weather. Have a look at Barocco to get an idea of the area. If you want recommendations for agrituirsmi etc PM me or drop me a line to info@modicasa.com and Ill do what I can.
