9748 Perugia Airport to Barcelona coming soon!

The local papers say that flights from Perugia to and from Barcelona, (possibly Ryanair??) are to commence in the next few months.

It's listed on the Ryanair website now. Perugia to Barcelona - Girona, but I hear that the weather is just as awful there at present!

Its as well to mention that Girona is 100Km from Barcelona. Its a bit like saying London-Northampton airport.

You are right, Marc, Girona isn't exactly Barcelona centrale...but 'centrale' isn't exactly centrale either! Don't knock it...Perugia into anywhere other than Milano (or Stansted) is a big plus...for Italians...and the rest,

I thought perhaps the route was aimed at bringing Spanish Pilgrims to Assisi?
